Behind the scenes at HNOS

Ed Pallo - Director
Ed's picture Ed started in the IT service industry in 1974 as a NCR "Field Engineer" working on a variety of products from cash registers to mainframes. In 1978 he moved to Northern Telecom Canada and utilized his superior troubleshooting skills on keybatch and remote job entry systems. In 1984 he had a unique opportunity to relocate "offshore" (Bermuda and eventually the Cayman Islands) and work with highly respected vendors such as UNISYS, NCR, IBM, Xerox, and Novell. During this time Ed progressed from IT support roles to becoming a General Manager at his last posting. In 1995 Ed decided it was time to move back to Canada and incorporated HNOS to provide contract technical training services to Novell and Microsoft education centres across Canada.

Today he provides a variety of services (support, consulting, IT projects) to select clients in the Quinte area, and to other IT support organizations.
